湖南外國(guó)語(yǔ)職業(yè)始建于1993年,2006年2月,經(jīng)湖南省人民*批準(zhǔn),正式成為高等職業(yè)院校。學(xué)校分長(zhǎng)沙、瀏陽(yáng)兩地辦學(xué)。其中,瀏陽(yáng)校區(qū)占地面積185畝,建筑面積近8萬(wàn)平方米,教學(xué)、實(shí)訓(xùn)、生活、服務(wù)、文體等設(shè)施一應(yīng)俱全,能容納在校學(xué)生5000人。長(zhǎng)沙校區(qū)位于湖南省長(zhǎng)沙市望城區(qū)丁字灣街道京陽(yáng)大道,占地面積870畝,建筑面積近60萬(wàn)平方米,教*研儀器設(shè)備總值6000多萬(wàn)元,紙質(zhì)圖書(shū)92萬(wàn)冊(cè)。新校區(qū)全部建成后,將成為一座生態(tài)型、園林式、數(shù)字化校園。學(xué)校堅(jiān)持"治校,治學(xué)"辦學(xué)理念,著力打造借鑒國(guó)內(nèi)外*先進(jìn)的教育管理制度,匯聚中西方文化特色的高水平多科性應(yīng)用型國(guó)際化*。
